Physical Safety
We are up front with parents and students about how to behave to keep everyone safe. All staff maintain CPR and first aid certification, and fire drills and emergency procedures are practiced regularly. Equipment is regularly inspected to maintain our licensure through the Department of Children and Families. We take our roles as mandatory reporters very seriously.
We at Montessori Way School consider ourselves lucky to be part of a close-knit community where parents work with teachers and administrators to ensure the safety of students so they can focus on being a kid, learning with their friends.
Emotional Safety
We model acceptance, tolerance, compassion and respect in our classrooms. We celebrate the variety of religions and cultures that our students share with us. Teachers guide students towards positive language, community-building, and healthy conflict resolution in age-appropriate ways. Bullying is not tolerated at Montessori Way School.
