We value the diversity of our families and each student’s unique contributions, regardless of socioeconomic background. We are proud to be a school that accepts Florida-sponsored scholarships & VPK tuition waivers.

Scholarships

In Florida, AAA Scholarship Foundation and Step Up for Students provide financial assistance for families seeking a private school education. The financial aid Montessori Way School accepts are:

  • The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship: Allows lower to middle income families to receive income-based financial aid for private school tuition 
  • The Family Empowerment Scholarship (formerly known as Gardiner Scholarship): Allows lower to middle income families with students that have special needs or unique abilities to pay for several educational services, including private school tuition

Once you are awarded a scholarship, you will bring the award letter to us.

Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK)

Montessori Way School is also an accredited Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) Provider. This means children who turn four between Feb. 2 through Sept. 1 are eligible for free pre-k at Montessori Way School for that year.

Our VPK program is a three-hour afternoon program. Spots fill up quickly. To apply, go through the Office of Early Learning (link http://www.floridaearlylearning.com/vpk) and use the certificate towards our Primary program for four year olds.

In your school search, please prioritize the timing of your scholarship applications. The scholarships have specific deadlines and can take several weeks to process.
